The grassroots activities done by the work of our many Clubs and Councils are the heart of our conservation efforts.  River trash pick-up, stream habitat restoration or letter drives to local government officials are all examples of conservation work.  Let us know about the work you do in your backyard!   Your efforts can be shared with other clubs and councils and inspire others with your projects.  Submit a project and pictures to the Conservation Coordinator. 

Antietam Fly Anglers - Completed a restoration project on Beaver Creek, MD that will prevent erosion and create new habitat for healthy fisheries. 

Grand Valley Anglers - Held a successful Fall clean up on West Creek near Gateway, CO.  Excellent work!

Central Coast Fly Fishers - Set up monofilament recycling stations at 5 fishing access sites on the Alsea River to help keep this unwanted trash out of our waters.  Keep up the good work!   

Granite Bay Fly Casters - Aided in the construction of two cascade fish passages in their local watershed in order to promote restoration of the Chinook Salmon and Rainbow Trout resources in the Auburn Ravine. To learn more about the Granite Bay Fly Casters - visit their website.
