The loaner program makes rods, reels, fly tying vises and tying materials available to FFF-affiliated clubs throughout the nation and non-commercial organizations within Montana. These organizations use the equipment for educational programs that will ultimately produce the fly fishers and conservationists of the future.
The importance of educational outreach programs to our aquatic resources is unquestionable. Fly fishing is a wonderful way to build the relationship between participants and our resources. With the loaner program, the most difficult part of providing these programs is taken care of. Organizations need only to pay for the shipping and handling of the equipment.
The application process for the loaner program is simple. Have your organization contact the FFF Office with a specific set of dates for use of the equipment along with approximate numbers needed. Equipment numbers will be limited, so apply early.
