Paul is a Life Member of the IFFF and the FTG. He is currently the FTG Chair of the newly-formed Upper Midwest Council. He has tied warm-water and trout flies for over 50 years, taught and demonstrated tying at local shops and regional expos. If elected, Paul will work to bring the perspectives, needs, and interests of the Upper Midwest to the FTBOG while networking to advance the fledgling UMC-FTG efforts. His retirement in 2015 will allow him time to merge his love of teaching and fly tying in service of the FTG at the local, council, and national level.
